Behind Pained Eyes - Chapter 1
"Come on," Rose murmured softly, pushing the Poffins towards me.
"Eat up, Seven. It's your dinner. You won't get any more after this unless you eat it all." Even without eyesight I could tell her eyes shone with genuine warmth and a smile was on her face, but inside my stomach was churning. I felt like I had to throw up.
Reluctantly I bent down and took a miniscule bite out of the warm, freshly baked strawberry bread-like substance. I chewed slowly, breathing in my surroundings. The crisp, clean antiseptic smell suggested we were in a Pokemon Center. I could hear footfalls as Trainers and their Pokemon shuffled around, buying food from the

Deino - They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings. Their bodies are covered in wounds.
"Go, Seven!"
The red and white sphere flew across the grassy battlefield, bursting open in midair. A white light seeped out in the form of a plasma-like substance. It formed the shape of a small, quadripedal creature with a scruffy mane and a sharp head spike. The plasma flew off in several white sparks, leaving behind the solid black and dark blue creature... also known as me.

May threw two red and white spheres up into the air. Slowly, the spheres burst open and white light seeped out, taking the form of two creatures. The light died and the creatures were there in all their color. Two Pokemon, Blaziken and Beautifly. May tenses, more nervous then ever. All the eyes in the stadium were on her and her Pokemon. This stadium, the Johto Grand Festival stadium, could seat thousands. Thousands of people were watching her every move. May clenched her fists. Determination was the key. I know I can't take one more step towards you
Cause all that's waiting is regret
And don't you know I'm not your ghost anymore

I learned to live half alive
And now you want me one more time

Running 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart

From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Who do you think you are
I hear you're asking all around
If I am anywhere to be found
But I have grown too strong
To ever fall back in your arms
And I've learned to live half alive
And now you want me one more tim

"What's this?"
I bent down to the asphalt-covered ground and picked up the blue piece of paper with a red and white ball on it, flipping it over. A blue dragon with a red head covered in spikes stared at me menacingly, the Pokemon card calling it Druddigon. "You're pretty beast, y'know, Druddigon?" I whispered softly, slipping the card into my pocket and walking inside. I was sure the owner wouldn't miss it.
I plopped down next to my brother, who was playing Black Ops. He shot a virtual person then growled at me, "Get yer leg offa me, it's freezing." I felt my leg, and sure enough, he was right. I instinctively removed the Druddigon card f
